Leandro Erlich
Argentine artist
Leandro Erlich (born 1973 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an internationally exhibited Argentine conceptual artist.[1]
Career
In 2001 he represented his nation at the Venice Biennial and was included in the main section of the biennial once again in 2005.[2]
The artist's work was also included in the 2000 Whitney Biennial and the 2001 Istanbul Biennial.[1]
In 2008 Erlich created the Swimming Pool installation which was on display at MoMA PS1 in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City,[3] and presented Ladder and Window, a commissioned piece for Prospect New Orleans No 1.
In summer 2013, Erlich exhibited Dalston House, an optical illusion at the Dalston Mill site in Dalston, East London with a huge mirror suspended at 45° (from the horizontal) over a life-size model of the façade of a Victorian terraced townhouse placed horizontally on the ground, giving the appearance of visi
