Why this Jewish woman risked her life to spy on Nazi troops during WWII
As a young Jewish woman turned spy, Marthe Cohn risked her life to gather information about Nazi troop movements during World War II.
Cohn, who is now in her 90s and lives in the U.S., will speak about her experience as a member of the French Army's intelligence service Wednesday evening in Nashville.
The ticketed event is hosted by Chabad of Nashville and will be held at the Gordon Jewish Community Center.
Cohn, who detailed her story in the book "Behind Enemy Lines: The True Story of a French Jewish Spy in Nazi Germany," recently spoke with The Tennessean about her time posing as a nurse in Germany.

How did you become a spy?
Cohn: First I have to explain to you how I met the colonel of the regiment to which I was assigned.
